Depending on the current surface it is advisable to remove the old topping which can restrict adhesion of the new SteenVas system.
Therefore, it may require the surface to be scarified or roughened with a floor grinder (or suitable acids) to create a suitable bonding structure. Where new floors are involved, a good wash to get rid of excess dust and grime is sufficient.
Next, all uneven areas should be patched with epoxy mortar (Steenvas ST100) before applying Steenvas ST300 primer.
Once the primer has been applied and dried, ST200 high build epoxy can be applied.
NB! Surfaces must be Clean and Dry and preferably at room temperature before application.
